Description
Candy concentrates are powdered dyes that can be completely dissolved into solvents. After these dyes are dissolved, the liquid tint can be added to clears. Candy concentrates create a unique, vibrant color for your car, giving you the finish and look that you’ve always dreamed of.
In fact, Didspade offers seven color options for your candy paint. You can mix any of these colors to make your ride completely custom. For example, when you paint over a silver base the pure color of the candy paint can really shine. You can also use our candy color paints over flake to create mind-blowing sparkle and shine. - Tint your clears by dissolving powder in reducing agents and activators before adding into clears.
- Each 20 grams will tint 1+ gallon of clear.
- Will work in clears and liquid wrap dip clears.
- Test spray recommended to gauge tint.
- Once dissolved, concentrates can be stored for later use as needed.
- Please note: the color of the powder will appear different than when powder is dissolved.

HOW DO I USE CANDY CONCENTRATES WITH AUTOMOTIVE PAINT?
Mix powders into solvent based reducer, stir and allow time for powder to dissolve.
Once dissolved, filter the concentrated solution into clear.
For the best results, use over a silver base or a Chrome metal flake base.
We recommend spraying a test to gauge tint/number of coats.
Spray 3-4 coats. Please remember, additional coats will slightly darken tint.
After you have achieved the desired tint, finish with a UV protected clear coat.
HOW DO I USE CANDY CONCENTRATES WITH LIQUID WRAP COATINGS?
Does NOT work in NAPTHA thinners!!!
Mix 5g into approximately 2oz of Xylene. OR 20g into approximately 8oz of Xylene. Most liquid wrap gallons are pre-thinned, so following the suggested ratios will help you avoid over-thinning.
Stir concentrates in Xylene, and allow time for powder to dissolve.
Once dissolved, filter the concentrated solution into clear.
For the best results, use over a silver base. We recommend Titanium Frost Pearl
