1994 Audi S2 Coupe Quattro 20v Turbo (230PS)

What can I say? I just love the S2 with its glorious ‘straight five’ engine note and the tuning ability up to 1000bhp.

This example is an immaculate, unmodified and original UK specification car. I would go further to say that it’s probably the finest example I’ve ever seen and is easily the best currently for sale in the UK at the moment plus I’ve never seen one in this colour, until now.

It is the more powerful updated ‘8B3 039 model code’ ABY engined car with the 6-speed manual gearbox (earlier ones were 5). It has air conditioning as well as a sunroof and original ‘Avus’ alloys. It has covered only 126k miles and has the all important FSH with more than 18 stamps in the book!!

In 1991, with the success of the ’80’s UR Quattro still firmly in the world’s mind, Audi introduced what would become the first of the long line of ‘S’ cars which still exist today. The S2 continued using the straight 5-cylinder 2.2 litre 20 valve turbo engine which made the ‘UR’ (standing for Original) Quattro so special.

This is the ‘grandaddy’ of the MK 1 TTs. The mighty 3.2 litre V6, 247bhp, quattro with DSG gearbox (quicker than the manual). Immaculate, rare in ‘Brilliant Red’ only three previous owners. MOT’d to June 2015 and TAX’d to Nov 2014, it only has 62,000 miles. It also wears an appropriate ‘DSG’ registration, which is included in the sale. The standard alloys are included in the sale but upgraded 3SDM staggered alloys are available as an upgrade by negotiation but really set the car off perfectly (see photos). Easily more purer in design than the model that replaced it, it set the car industry alight when it was launched. Please don’t confuse this with the lesser ‘cooking’ models. I can only say that its ride, handling, and glorious engine note is easily on par with my 911. If you’re serious about adding the best of the early TTs to your collection then you won’t be disappointed.

This is an immaculate MINI COOPER 1.6 in the rare colour of Sparkling Silver, air conditioning and half leather interior and a non-dating registration. It has ultra low mileage of 37,000 and has a full ‘Mini’ service history and just received a new set of front brake pads. CHILI PACK gives changeable mood lighting to the interior, alloy wheels, CD player etc. Find one at this mileage and year cheaper if you dare. Taxed until Sept 2014, MOTd until April 2015.

Now SOLD, Similar required. 2006 (56) Celica GT. Toyota really pushed the boat out with their run-out model  of the ‘GEN 7’. Tracing its lineage directly back to the Celica TA22 of 1970 this is a fitting tribute to the very last of the very last Celicas and as a result is highly collectible. Registered in December 2006 it’s even one of the very last registered. With 190 bhp on tap, a full Toyota Racing Developments body kit, 35mm lowered suspension, air conditioning and gorgeous alcantara and leather upholstery all as standard this really does stand out from the mere ‘cooking’ models. This engine is even so good that Lotus sourced it for its own Elise. Just serviced with new belts for peace of mind, MOT until January 2015 and Taxed until July 2014. This is the top of the range 1.8 Turbo 20 valve manual model (not to be confused with the lesser 2.0 model) and has the most amazing specification, full service history, only 2 previous owners, and a massive history file with old MOTs, all receipts and even has all the old tax discs.

It’s in outstanding condition and only 62,000 miles from new with the old MOTs and all receipts from new to prove it.
